LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY®: PLAYSHOP ON  INNOVATION & DESIGN FOR GLOBAL LEADERS

27th November, 2019 at Pullman Aerocity, Delhi.

We collaborated with PlayThinkTransform, to host LEGO SERIOUS PLAY, a playshop on innovation and design for global leaders. The workshop was conducted by Design Coaches Masao Ishihara, Trainer of Facilitator, LEGO SERIOUS PLAY; Murugappan, Co-founder, PlayThinkTransform; and Laxman Murugappan, Founder, PlayThinkTransform. The Design Coaches hosted a fun and interactive session. Business and design leaders learnt to blend design with innovation and create transformative value for their organisations.

DesignDesign Storm: Designing for Humans, Not Users – Exploring An Empirical Model

10 October 2019 @ T-Hub Hyderabad

In partnership with the World Design Organisation as a part of the Hyderabad Design Week, we hosted Design Storm: a workshop on the topic “Designing for Humans, Not Users – Exploring An Empirical Model”. The workshop was conducted by Design Coach Srinivas Chinta, CEO & Chief Designer, Prabal Design. Through this workshop, participants explored the different ways of identifying the specific emotions that influence people when they engage with products and services.

Design Storm: Design For Impact Workshop

9 October 2019 @ T-Hub Hyderabad

As a part of the Hyderabad Design Week, we partnered with the World Design Organisation and hosted the Design For Impact workshop. The workshop was conducted by Design Coaches Radhika Dilip Kale, Co-founder & Director, ScaleFactor and Shashank Upadhyay, Co-founder & Managing Partner, ScaleFactor. The workshop taught participants a design-led approach to social innovation with human-centred solutions.

DESIGN THINKING – ‘Design 101’

13th July 2019 at Integrated Startup Complex, Kochi

In association with Kerala Startup Mission and Rapid Value, Design4India organised a state level hackathon. The hackathon was conducted by Niyam Bhushan, Founder, DesignRev and Digital Dionysus. Attendees participated in design thinking exercises that enabled them to create and fine tune their Minimum Viable Products by examining all angles – from user empathy to customer centricity.  

DESIGN THINKING IN PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT

6th July 2019 at IIM Kozhikode,Calicut

Design4India partnered with Kerala Startup Mission (KSUM), the Government of Kerala’s nodal agency, to present Design Storm – a design thinking workshop specially curated for new startups. The session was hosted by mentor Dr. Anbu Rathinavel, Chief Design Officer, Intellect Design Arena and Head, School of Design Thinking. The workshop was organised in conjunction with KSUM’s mission to support the emerging Kerala startup ecosystem by guiding them towards driving large scale impact through design thinking.

WORKSHOP ON BRAND ARCHETYPES- CHENNAI

26th April 2019 at Raintree, Anna Salai, Chennai

After hosting a successful Brand Archetypes Workshop in Bangalore, Nidhi Isaac, Design Director at Idiom Design and Consulting, conducted another hands-on session in Chennai.The one-day workshop benefited anyone whose role involved making strategic, brand-led choices. From interactive games to conceptualising creative brand storyboards, the workshop was packed with valuable insights.

WORKSHOP ON BRAND ARCHETYPES

15th March 2019 @ 10,000 Startup Warehouse, Bangalore

Design4India organised a workshop on brand archetypes with Nidhi Isaac, Design Director, Idiom Design. Participants delved into a deep exploration of the 12 brand archetypes by engaging in fun, interactive and hands-on activities. They also learnt how to leverage these brand archetypes and create a unique positioning for their own brand. Over 50 participants benefited from the event.

DESIGN WORKSHOP WITH ADOBE XD

18th January 2019, Delhi

Design4India conducted a workshop on iterative design with Adobe XD on January 18, 2019 in India Habitat Centre, Delhi. Shandar Junaid, Strategic Development Manager, Adobe was the Design Coach for this workshop.

In this workshop, we walked through a sample project derived from a generic Design Thinking process using XD. These was a hands-on workshop and was attended by 69 participants.

AR/VR DESIGN WORKSHOP

28th November 2018 @ 10,000 Startup Warehouse, Bangalore

The Design Storm AR/VR workshop was conducted by Kumar Ahir. Participants learnt to create and manage immersive technology environments, studied the essential elements of interactivity, and designed 3D scenes.

DESIGN THINKING – THE WAY FORWARD

1st August 2018, Kolkata

The Design Thinking Workshop was organized by NASSCOM East Regional SME Council with Design4India as a design ecosystem partner. Speakers Divya Chadha and Sajid Khetani from Turian Labs helped participants better understand the methodology of using Design Thinking in the real world. The workshop also provided hands-on activities that enabled participants to put their learnings to practice.

Design4India partnered with NASSCOM Product to organize the Design Track workshop. The workshop was conducted by Baidurjya Sinha, Global Innovation & UXD Leader, ADP India Pvt.
